Gamajet VI

The Contaminant-Free Way to Clean Process Vessels

The new Gamajet VI is designed specifically to meet the demands of the beverage, food, pharmaceutical and personal care products industries for a non-lubricated, contaminant-free cleaning unit. Using the cleaning solution as a lubricant, the consistent and reproducible spray pattern of the Gamajet VI can be monitored to ensure reproducible and repeatable cleaning cycles that provide the thorough and verifiable cleaning demanded by these industries.

Its compact size fits through a standard 3” (7.62 cm) sanitary fitting, and its light weight of 4 lbs. (1.81 kg) makes for easy handling and maneuverability. The unit incorporates design features that minimize leakage and ensure that up to 97% of the cleaning solution passes through the unit and is utilized in the cleaning process. In addition, start up pressures can be as low as 5 psi (.35 bar) and the unit will run at a minimum flow rate of 5 gal/min. (18.92 l/min). A choice of nozzle sizes and stators offers a range of flow rates, pressures and wash cycle times.

The Gamajet VI is patented and represents the first and only fluid-driven, non-lubricated and validateable method for reliably cleaning smaller process vessels.

Other Specifications:

Inlet Connection: Standard combination includes a dual connection of 3/4" NPT-Female and 1" camlock. Optional sanitary connections are available.

Construction/Design: Parts are machined from 316-L Stainless Steel investment castings or bar stock.

Impeller & Final Shaft: For increased wear resistance, the impeller and output shaft is plasma-sprayed with a Chromium Oxide coating on Stainless Steel.

Shaft & Gearbox Bushings: Turbine shaft thrust is absorbed by a Tungsten carbide bushing. Gearbox bushings are carbon-reinforced polyphenylene sulfide.

Bearings: Bearings in the rotating tee and nozzle housings are self-lubricating, carbon-fiber-reinforced polyphenylene sulfide.

Bearing Cups: Main body castings are protected by replaceable 316-L Stainless Steel cups for extended frictional wear life.

Dynamic Seals: Rotary housing seals are spring-loaded, double-lipped and made of PTFE. They are reinforced for extra long wear and protection against leakage, abrasion and deposit build-up.

Nozzle Carrier: Dual or triple nozzle

Nozzles: 0.125" (3.18 mm), 0.135" (3.43 mm), 0.150" (3.810 mm), 0.165" (4.19 mm), 0.187" (4.75 mm), 0.200" (5.08 mm) and 0.225" (5.71mm) orifice diameters; .125" to .225" nozzles are standard. Other nozzle sizes are available upon request.

Drive Mechanism: The wash fluid enters the Gamajet at the inlet collar where it encounters and spins turbine blades. The turbine blades are attached to the top of the drive or rotor shaft. The bottom of this shaft is connected to the inside of a flow-through, planetary gearhead which then turns the body in the horizontal plane and the nozzles in the vertical plane.

Planetary Gearhead: The flow-through planetary gearhead incorporates all stainless steel components

Lubricant: The Gamajet VI is a non-lubricated, contaminant-free unit and does not contain any lubricants. No customer-supplied or user-maintained lubricant is needed.

Gear Ratio: 256:1.

Warranty: Gamajets are warranted for eighteen months from the date of shipment against any defects in workmanship or materials. Normal maintenance parts such as O-rings and bearings and are not included under this warranty, nor is damage caused by dropping, use of destructively corrosive fluids, or other abuse. This warranty shall not apply to any malfunction resulting from use of non-Gamajet replacement parts purchased from any source other than Gamajet or an authorized Gamajet distributor. For full details, see Gamajet “Terms and Conditions of Sale.”
